NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR
OF FAMILY HEALTH, HEARING AND SAFETY

Welcome to the position of Family Health, Hearing, & Safety Chairperson for your Grange.  I encourage you to work with the other leaders of your Grange to determine appropriate programs and activities in the area of family health, hearing, and safety.

For 2009, we are focusing our efforts on the hearing component of our department.  In additional to educational programs, we are working to support the State Grange Deaf Fund and the Dogs for the Deaf Program. 

Contributions to the State Grange Deaf Fund are appreciated.  Checks should be made payable to the Washington State Grange.  In the “memo line”, please write the words deaf fund.  Please send checks to me at my home address shown above so I can acknowledge your contribution.  All

contributions will be used to purchase equipment for the deaf and hard of hearing.
