Sammamish Valley Grange - Working to build family and community

WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE GRANGE?

People of the community should join their local Grange's to support their local farmers, schools, and others among their community who may be in need. Charity is a big part of the Grange's function. The Grange was began after the Civil War to regain a resemblance of "community" between the states, and to help farmers economically. Grangers meet in their Halls each month to socialize and enjoy each others company. There is a sense of family within the membership, which extends nationally. You have an immediate friend when you meet a Granger in another state.

Grangers gather together to conduct their business meetings, plan assistance for local charity work, and enjoy educational events, potlucks, town meetings, dances, and other activities. Grangers are political without being partisan, religious without being denominational, and above all else, charitable. This is a family-oriented organization, and Charity begins at home.
