2006 Program Handbook

The Women's Activities Department, under the guidance of a state director, oversees women's projects on subordinate (local Grange), Pomona (county or regional Grange) and statewide levels. A number of contests are sponsored annually, including needlework, baking, quilt, sewing and stuffed toy contests.

The Grange members also coordinate fund-raising for several worthwhile causes. These include college scholarships and support of charities.

Statewide Grange Women's Activities programs are under the direction of Chris Schaefer, Winlock, WA (telephone 360-785-3366). Current programs include the following (complete information is published annually each November in the Washington State Grange Program Handbook):
