YOUTH PROGRAMS

Persons 14 or older are entitled to full membership in their local subordinate Grange. Young people are encouraged to take an active part in all Grange activities. Each Grange has a youth committee that attempts to stimulate the interest and participation of young members.

The statewide youth committee is responsible for organizing young adult conferences, special contests and other activities specifically designed to interest younger members. Outstanding young Grangers and outstanding young Grange couples are chosen each year at the state Grange convention held in June.

Granges sponsor and provide leaders for many other youth organizations such as 4-H clubs, FFA, FHA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Camp Fire.

Statewide Grange youth programs are under the direction of Lisa Bowen.
